Thought for today

and my first and perhaps last blog

Peace..peace peace. There is a constant steady stream of peace running through me and all that I see. I feel the need to do nothing, be nothing. I don't need to say anything to anyone unless it will somehow enhance their experience of themselves. I say words like please and thank you not because I was taught to do so, but because I choose to do so in a genuine expression of gratitude to the all that is. I ask the human being in the drive through at the Starbucks how their day is going because I actually care and I want them to know that the stranger driving through doesn't see them as what they are doing there, but the human that they are being there. I smile at people because it is contagious...joy and love and I want to spread it around. I make idle conversations because no conversation is ever truly idle and I am always speaking to God in one form or another. I have too much to be grateful for to ever complain, and yet sometimes I still do a little. Mostly I sit in awe of it all speechless, then there are times where I can't stop talking. If I was really being honest at the Starbucks, I would say, "Hi God, how are you feeling today? You're doing a great job. Thanks for the coffee and I love you!"

You are equally as precious, beautiful and delicate, full of endless rivers of potential. When you remember this about yourself, you fulfill the greatest purpose of your soul and unlock the door to endless pathways of the expression of truth. And this truth becomes your heart, your core and your home, even though you really never left it. It is what you are.
